Adelaide – In training on the indoor nets at Adelaide Oval on Friday morning, while batting Pakistan opener Ahmed Shehzad received a glancing blow to his right forearm on a fast bowler’s delivery.
It looked like a bruise from the outset but as a precaution, Team Pakistan physiotherapist Brad Robinson thought it was prudent to get an X-ray done, which came out clear.
Shehzad is receiving the necessary treatment from the team physiotherapist, and it is most likely he would take part in training Saturday ahead of the Pakistan-India encounter.
