Lahore 14th January 2014. The fourth meeting of Interim Management Committee (IMC) of PCB was held today at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore. The following attended:

The IMC members were briefed on the ongoing litigation in the courts involving PCB.
The members discussed a letter from former Pakistan great Mr. Hanif Mohammad requesting inclusion of his name in the list of recipient of financial awards for scoring triple century for Pakistan in the past. The members deliberated on this matter and agreed that past issues concluded by previous Boards should not be reopened. But considering the current financial difficulties being faced by Mr. Hanif Mohammad in relation to health matters, it was pleased to approve a grant of Rs. 500,000 (5 lacs) to Hanif Mahammad in 2014 as a follow up to Rs 5 lacs given to him in Jan 2013.
The members were given an update on the issues surrounding Pakistan team’s participation in Asia Cup and World T20 in Bangladesh and agreed that PCB should continue to liaise with the government and also assess the report by PCB’s General Manager Vigilance and Security who will visit Bangladesh for a security related meeting there on 20th January.
The members discussed at length the positions of Team Manager and Coach which were due to fall vacant after the conclusion of the ongoing Sri Lanka series. The decisions on Team Manager and Coach and Chief Selector were deferred until the PCB Chairman's issue is settled by the courts
