Lahore May 5, 2015: PCB Women Wing is organizing the 10th Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah National Women Cricket Championship starting from May 6 till May 25, 2015 at Muridke and Lahore. Twelve (12) Regional teams and four (4) departmental teams will be participating in this 50-overs a side event.
In order to improve the standard of women cricket at domestic level and make it more competitive, the pattern of the event this year has been changed. In this Regard 3 Rounds will be played i.e. Qualification Round wherein 6 Regional Teams will be competing and are divided in 2 groups. The top 2 teams from each group will qualify to play in First Round wherein (8) Regional and (4) departmental teams divided into (3) Pools will be competing and Top (2) from each Pool will qualify for the Super League Round wherein (6) teams will play against each other on “Random Robin League” and the final will be played between the top (2) emerging teams from Super League Stage.
The bottom (2) regional teams will be relegated and will have to play in the qualification Round of next year. The complete schedule is as follows:
