Lahore Blues fined for slow over-rate
Lahore, 13 September 2023: Lahore Blues players have been fined 10 per cent of their match fee for maintaining a slow over-rate in the opening round match against Lahore Whites.
Lahore Blues were found seven overs short of their target after taking into account time allowances and were charged under Article 2.22 of the PCB Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel that deals with the minimum over-rate offences.
Lahore Blues’ captain Imran Butt accepted the sanction proposed by match referee Sohail Idrees to the charge levelled by Muhammad Asif and Zulfiqar Jan, the two on-field umpires.
