LAHORE–November 13, 2014: Chairman PCB Shaharyar Mohammad Khan has approved bonus and performance incentives totalling Rs14.75 million to the triumphant Pakistan squad and team management and support staff that beat Australia 2-0 for its first series victory in 20 years.
The two experienced campaigners and mainstays of Team Pakistan, skipper Misbah-ul-Haq and Younis Khan have been rewarded Rs1.5 million apiece (Rs500,000 bonus and Rs1 million performance incentive each).
While Rs500,000 bonus has series win bonus has been given across the board to each of the members of the squad and Rs350,000 to everyone in team management and support staff, other than Misbah and Younis, five other standout performers have also been rewarded with performance incentives as well. Azhar Ali and Zulfiqar Babar were awarded Rs500,000 apiece to make it a total of Rs1 million for each of them, while Ahmed Shehzad and Zulfiqar Babar each Rs250,000 to take the total to Rs750,000 each and Yasir Shah Rs100,000 for Rs600,000 in all.
