LAHORE April 11, 2016: In response to the change of players from Omer Associates to Saga Sports, PCB has taken a lenient view of this matter which occurred during the ongoing 11th Fatima Jinnah National Women Cricket Championship. Some grey areas were identified in the rules pertaining to the women cricket especially departmental cricket which is in its infancy.
PCB has in larger interest of promotion of women Cricket has allowed all teams for revision, changes and inter-transfers in their teams including Multan, Bahawalpur, Peshawar, Saga Sports, Omer Associates and HEC etc.
The status of all matches played so far in this tournament would remain intact and Omer Associate is allowed to revise their team. PCB would revisit the rules to remove the grey areas/ lacunas and would ensure that the same be implemented in future events. Warning is also issued to all teams, management and players to refrain from such acts in future.
