Karachi, 16 January 2021: The Pakistan men’s national cricket team will begin its training and practice sessions at the National Stadium from 21 January in the lead up to the first Test against South Africa, which begins on 26 January.
The following is the side’s schedule of training, practice and media conferences, while schedule of South Africa side’s will be shared in due course. For all Pakistan team-related information, please contact team media manager Raza Kitchlew (03018440280), while Emmad Ahmed Hameed (03018452417) will be the contact point for all operational matters:
Wednesday, 20 January:
No training or practice has been planned. However, a member of the side will hold a virtual press conference. Further details, including time and link, will be shared by the team media manager closer to the time.
Thursday, 21 January:
Pakistan side will hold a training session at the National Stadium from 1300. The photographers and TV news channel camerapersons will be allowed to cover the training session from designated areas. No virtual media conferences are planned.
Friday, 22 January:
Pakistan side will hold a training session at the National Stadium from 1000. The photographers and TV news channel camerapersons will be allowed to cover the training session from designated areas. A member of the side will hold a virtual media conference at the end of the training session.
Saturday, 23 January:
Pakistan side will hold a training session at the National Stadium from 1000. The photographers and TV news channel camerapersons will be allowed to cover the training session from designated areas. A member of the side will hold a virtual media conference at the end of the training session.
Sunday, 24 January:
Pakistan side will hold a training session at the National Stadium from 1300. The photographers and TV news channel camerapersons will be allowed to cover the training session from designated areas. A member of the side will hold a virtual media conference at the end of the training session.
Monday, 25 January:
Pakistan side will hold a training session at the National Stadium from 1000. The photographers and TV news channel camerapersons will be allowed to cover the training session from designated areas. Pakistan captain Babar Azam will hold his virtual pre-series media conference at the end of the training session.
26-30 January:
The toss will take place at 0930PST, with the first ball scheduled to be bowled at 1000. Except on Friday, the playing hours will be: 1000-1200; 1240-1440 and 1500-1700. Playing hours for Friday are: 1000-1230; 1330-1515; 1535-1720.
