Lahore July 3, 2012: Pakkistan Cricket Board confirms that an invitation has been received from the Champions League Twenty20 (CLT20), inviting the winner of Pakistan Domestic Season 2012 Twenty20 champions to participate in the qualifying Tournament for the 2012 Champions League Twenty20 to be held in South Africa.
The tournament will be held from the 2nd week of October to the end of October and the top two teams from the Qualifying leg will go through to the next stage of the 2012 C Champions League Twenty20. The qualifying tournament will feature 6 teams (2 groups of 3 teams each) and a winner of each group will advance to the next stage.
The invitation will be discussed in the PCB's Executive Coordination Committee meeting tomorrow (July 4, 2012).
