Chairman Pakistan cricket board Ijaz Butt has given the signal of holding of Pakistan India series in two parts. The option of neutral venue, for this series, has been ended. Series will be held in Pakistan. All of the other matters regarding this issue will be discussed in June. According to chairman two foreign are requested to provide their services as batting coach to Pakistan team but he did not reveal the name of that foreign players.
Ijaz Butt wants to find out time for Pak-India series soon
According to details, the series was to be held in January 2009 but due to Mumbai blasts, the tour of India to Pakistan was canceled. The mutual relations of both countries are going towards improvement after semi final in Mohali and now India is agreed to its team. Ijaz Butt further told that Pakistan Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani has given order to hold the series as soon as possible. Therefore, ijaz Butt added, we are making efforts to find out time from the busy schedule of both teams for this series. The series will be held in two parts. In first part, T20 and ODI matches will be played while in second part Test Series will be played.

Answering a question regarding the option of neutral venue Ijaz Butt said that Prime Minister has ordered to hold the series in Pakistan so the option of neutral venue is no more there. We are hoping that we will hold the series in Pakistan successfully Insha Allah and other teams too will come to Pakistan. Foolproof security arrangements will be made. It is to be remembered that in future tour of India to Pakistan 5 ODIs, 5 Tests and 2 T20 matches will be played. Ijaz Butt further told that after the apology of Javed Miandad to become the batting coach PCB is consulting two foreigners to provide their services to Pakistan but problem is that they say that they will join the team during the tour or will come to Pakistan for a short time period while we need a full time coach. ijaz Butt expressed the hope that decision regarding this issue will come soon.
