LAHORE–December 14, 2014: Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq has been retained in the UAE and shall continue to stay with Team Pakistan while working on his initial treatment/rehab under the watch of squad’s physiotherapist, Brad Robinson. “This was decided by the team management after a detailed discussion on the issue,” said manager Moin Khan.
“The Medical Report clearly indicates that Misbah is out of the remaining three matches of the ongoing series with New Zealand. But in the light of the team physio’s recommendation, it was decided to retain Misbah so that he could enter the initial treatment/rehab phase under Brad’s close observation”, said Moin.
The concluding remark in team physio Brad Robsinson’s report said: “I recommend that Misbah remains on tour so that I am able to treat him daily as well as guide his rehabilitation accordingly.”
