Lahore, 27 October 2021: Northern U19 Whites’ Jahandad Khan has been fined 100 per cent of his match fee for a level 2 offence for breaching the PCB Code of Conduct for Players and Players Support Personnel during his side’s National U19 Championship (three-day event) match against Sindh U19 Whites at the Lahore Country Club in Muridke from 24 to 26 October.
Jahandad was found to have violated Article 2.12 of the PCB Code of Conduct, which reads as: “Inappropriate physical contact with a Player, Player Support Personnel, Umpire, Match Referee or any other person (including a spectator) during a Match.”
On-field umpires Qaisar Khan and Imranullah Aslam levelled the charge, who accepted the sanction proposed by match-referee Sami ul Haq.
