LAHORE–November 5, 2015: Chairman PCB Shaharyar M. Khan has congratulated captain Misbah-ul-Haq, Team Pakistan, head coach Waqar Younis, manager Intikhab Alam and the entire support staff on a consistently good performance that landed them back-to-back wins in Tests first at Dubai and then at Sharjah today (Thursday) and with it the series 2-0 after the first drawn game at Abu Dhabi.
As a consequence of the series victory, Pakistan has jumped to No 2 in the ICC World Ranking, behind South Africa at No 1, with Australia and England trailing at Nos 3 and 4.
“You have made the nation proud by clinching the series against England”, said Chairman PCB in his message to Misbah-ul-Haq.
Chairman PCB’s Executive Committee Najam Sethi also congratulated the captain and the team management on winning the rubber against a tough opponent.
