Lahore October 28, 2016: The Audit Committee of the BoG PCB met today under the chairmanship of BoG member Masood Khan and finalised its recommendations for presentation to the BoG next month. The other members of the Audit Comm are Najam Sethi, Chairman ExCo/PSL, Badar Khan, CFO and Internal Auditor Mr Bhatti.
The Audit Comm recommended strengthening of the Internal Audit Dept and rigourous and continuing review and oversight of all functions of PCB administration, including PSL, Far End Pavilion and various other infrastructure projects in the pipeline.
The PCB would also like to point out that the list of those players who were categorised in the Central Contracts was exclusively and independently made by a committee appointed by the Chairman PCB Shaharyar Khan comprising the National Selectors, Mudassar Nazar, Director Academies and General Manager International Cricket Operations who liaises between PCB and Contracted Players. Management of PCB has no role in the selection and categorisation of Centrally Contracted Players.
