Lahore January 18, 2016: PCB has conducted an Anti Corruption workshop today at National Cricket Academy, Lahore to keep Pakistan Super League (PSL) clean of corruption. On request of PCB Mr. Martin Vertigen, Coordinator Intelligence, Anti Curruption & Security Unit (ACSU), ICC delivered a lecture to educate about Anti-Corruption Strategy and various measures to curb corruption. The workshop was attended by the representatives of all five franchises, PSL Management and Integrity officers of all five teams.
During the workshop, Martin Vertigen briefed the participants, how to control the menace of corruption. Col ® Mohammad Azam, PCB Director Security and Anti-Corruption was also present during the workshop. The representative of the franchises termed the workshop very healthy and said they would educate their respective franchise on today’s event. The Board will continue to engage in this activity in future and shall hold such workshops for the teams as well. PCB will follow its zero tolerance policy towards corruption.
