Chairman PCB felicitates Misbah, Team Pakistan and management
LAHORE–October 26, 2014: Mr Shaharyar M. Khan, Chairman PCB, felicitated skipper Misbah-ul-Haq, Team Pakistan, head coach Waqar Younis, manager Moin Khan and the entire support staff on a magnificent victory against Australia in the first Test at Dubai International Stadium.
The following is the transcript of the message to Misbah-ul-Haq:
“My heartfelt congratulations on a superb victory against Australia in the first Test. This has been a magnificent victory under your mature leadership.
“My felicitations especially to Younis Khan; centuries from Sarfaraz Ahmed and Ahmed Shahzad, runs from Younis Shafiq and Misbah’s coming back to form also contributed to the victory.
“My congratulations also go to the spin bowlers who ensured our success, and last but not the least to the entire team management, with head coach Waqar Younis and manager Moin Khan providing the lead.
“You have all done the nation proud”.
