Guyana, 1 August 2021: The third T20I between West Indies and Pakistan was washed-out after a mere eight balls of West Indies' innings due to heavy rain at the Providence Stadium, Guyana on Sunday.
The match began 15 minutes after the scheduled start and the players were forced to leave the field with the hosts at 15 for no loss (after opting to bat first at the toss) when heavy rain returned to force a premature end to the proceedings.
The abandoned fixture ensured at least a drawn series for Pakistan who would now head into the fourth and final match of the series at the same venue on Tuesday with an unassailable 1-0 lead courtesy their seven-run win in the second match played at the same venue yesterday.
The first match of the series was also abandoned due to rain at the Kensington Oval, Barbados.
Meanwhile, for the match today, Pakistan made one change with fast bowler Haris Rauf replacing Shaheen Shah Afridi.
