MULTAN: PCB Dynamites maintained its dominance in the ongoing Triangular One Day Women's Cricket Tournament 2018 by clinching the fifth match of the event here at Multan Cricket Stadium on Saturday.
Dynamites first contained Blasters at 176 and then overhauled the score for the loss of seven wickets, winning by three wickets. Natalia Pervaiz gave an all-round performance to make the win easy for Dynamites.
Electing to bat, Blasters mainly relied on Kainat Imtiaz’s 60 runs innings that came off 88 balls. Ayesha Zafar made useful 37 runs in 58 balls, to lift the score. Both these girls had seven boundaries each to their credit. Later in the innings Hafsa Khalid scored 13 runs but Natalia and her attack mates Subhan Tariq and Nida Dar were too dangerous for Blasters batting to handle.
In their chase, Dynamites scored 177 runs in 45.3 overs. Omaima Sohail, Javeria Khan and Natalia Pervaiz laid the proper foundation to their chase by making 46, 37 and 31 runs respectively. Later an unbeaten 20 runs from Hurain Sajjad saw off the target. Ghulam Fatima and Ramin Shamim had three and two wickets respectively.
