LAHORE–February 24, 2014: The PCB Chairman Mr Najam Sethi has congratulated Team Pakistan on making it to the final of ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup 2014 by beating England in the semifinal on Monday at Dubai.
In a message to skipper Sami Aslam and the boys, the management and the entire support staff, the PCB Chairman expressed his great satisfaction over the team having reached the final with a string of superb performances, beating strong outfits like Sri Lanka in the quarterfinal and England in the semifinal.
“The Team Pakistan is looking very good. I expect that the boys would keep it up in the final and recapture the title. The youngsters performing so well in a global event is also very encouraging, as it means that talent-wise we are well-positioned in blooding youngsters in the senior squad if and when there is a need", said Najam Sethi.
