Pakistan-South Africa third T20I called off due to rain

Johannesburg, 14 December 2024: The third T20I between Pakistan and South Africa has been washed out due to persistent rain here at the Wanderers Cricket Ground, Johannesburg on Saturday evening. The continuous rain and thunderstorms didn’t allow the toss to take place after teams arrived at the venue.

South Africa clinched the three-match T20I series 2-0 after beating Pakistan by 11 runs and seven wickets at Durban and Centurion, respectively. South Africa’s George Linde was declared player of the series for his five wickets and 48 runs.

The two teams will now travel to Paarl for the opener of the three-match ODI series, to be played at the Boland Park on Tuesday, 17 December. The second and third ODIs will be played in Cape Town and Johannesburg, respectively on 19 and 22 December before the two-match Test series gets underway on 26 December.
