Lahore, 27 October 2021: In a Pool A fixture being staged at the Sports Stadium in Sargodha, Central Punjab U19 Whites defeated Balochistan U19 Whites by seven wickets in the third-round match of the National U19 Championship.
Left-arm spinner Mohammad Awais picked eight wickets for 66 as Balochistan U19 Whites in their second innings were dismissed for 121 in the 47th over.
Awais ended-up with match figures of 11 for 116.
Chasing 147 runs to win, Central Punjab U19 Whites achieved the target in the 40th over with seven wickets in hand. Usman Nadeem who scored 51 in the first innings contributed unbeaten 61 in the second innings.
After third-round matches, Southern Punjab U19 Whites leads the Pool A table with two wins from three outings, while Northern U19 Blues leads the Pool B with one win from three outings.
