Sami Aslam started Islamabad’s innings with a 15 ball 15 and later Raheel took charge of the affairs when Sami lost its partner.
Sami stayed with Raheel till the fifth over but the latter kept his cool to stay put throughout the whole remaining overs. Raheel in his stay at the crease hit five boundaries and two sixes.
He and Abid Ali 31 further developed the score but afterwards little contribution came from the following batsmen. Shehzad Azam was the other not out batsman of Islamabad line up.
Bilawal Bhatti, Mohammad Asghar and Saeed Ajmal had two wickets each.
In reply, Karachi Blues opener Shahzab despite witnessing frequent shocks maintained his wicket intact only to find mumber seven batsman Mohammad Sami staying at the crease for some time.
Sami produced 17 runs and Saeed Ajmal with 11 runs was the only other bat to have entered into double figures. Shahzaib while facing 50 balls hit five fours and three sixes.
