Lahore, 3 April 2024: The 13th day of the Inter-College Ramadan T20 Cup saw Government Science College Wahdat Road register a 46-run win against Government Dyal Singh Graduate College at LCCA Ground in Lahore.
Science College’s Mohammad Hussain Ihsan was the top scorer for his side with an unbeaten 86 off 68 with 11 boundaries and two sixes. The opening batter led his team’s batting effort, helping them post 146-5 in their 20 overs.
Mohammad Salman pitched in with 17 off 15 while Ghazanfar Raza managed to make an unbeaten 10 off nine deliveries.
Ghazanfar’s all-round abilities were on display throughout the match as he bagged a three-wicket haul against the Dyal Singh Graduate College batters, who were restricted to 106-9 with Science College’s Mohammad Abu Bakar and Nouman Safdar also returning with two wickets each.
Dyal Singh Graduate College’s Abdul Rehman was their standout performer, picking up three wickets with the ball and scoring 41 in the chase. Hussain Ihsan of the victorious Science College was declared player of the match.
