Lahore, 11 November 2022: Southern Punjab eked out a thrilling one-wicket win against Balochistan at the Bugti Stadium, Quetta on the last day of the eighth round of Cricket Associations Championship 2022-23.
Southern Punjab had four wickets in hand and needed 95 to beat Balochistan. Yousuf Babar was the star for Southern Punjab as he made 85 not out after starting the day on 28.
Gohar Faiz took six wickets and finished the match with 10 wickets to his name.
The match between Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at the UBL Sports Complex ended in a draw. Mohammad Suleman scored a brilliant 175 off 322 balls and hit 22 fours.
Mohammad Taha made 84 and Rameez Aziz scored 57 as Sindh were 432 for six in their second innings after being asked to follow on
