AUCKLAND - Mr Ahsan Iqbal, Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Reform, visited Team Pakistan prior to its departure for Eden Park for its encounter against South Africa.
Conveying the best wishes of the prime minister, Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif to the team, Mr Iqbal also made a brief but eloquent speech in which he stressed on staying positive and focussed.
Ms. Zehra Akbari, Pakistan's High Commissioner to New Zealand, was also present on the occasion.
Earlier, Team Pakistan's manager Naveed Akram Cheema introduced the players and the support staff with Mr Ahsan Iqbal.
