Lahore, 12 November 2021: Ahsan Ali smashed his highest first-class score and was unbeaten on 284 at the close of day three of the pink ball affair between Sindh and Central Punjab at the Gaddafi Stadium. This is Ahsan’s first score of 100-plus for Sindh.
The right-handed opener was on 88 when play resumed today and continued to score at a brisk rate. He has, to date, smashed 35 fours and three sixes from the 364 balls he has faced.
Sindh were 566 for five from 124 overs and had pocketed all five battings points for scoring 485 for the loss of two wickets in 100 overs.
Ammad Alam, who was on 49 yesterday, struck a century as he made 157 off 210 (15 fours and seven sixes).
