Multan, 12 February 2023: Opposite captains, Mohammad Rizwan of Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars’ Shaheen Shah Afridi, held their media conferences ahead of Monday’s HBL Pakistan Super League 2023 match at the Multan Cricket Stadium.

Toss for the HBL PSL 8 opener will take place at 7.30pm, with the first ball to be bowled at 8pm. Afterwards, both the sides will hold post-match media conferences.
Before the start of Multan Sultans versus Lahore Qalandars match, the HBL PSL 8 opening ceremony will be held. One of the major attractions of the ceremony will be the performances of Abdullah Siddiqui, Asim Azhar, Faris Shafi and Shae Gill, the singers of the HBL PSL 8 anthem.
Lahore Qalandars will defend the title, they won after defeating Multan Sultans by 42 runs at the Gaddafi Stadium, which will again stage the final on 19 March. A total of 34 matches will be played with Multan hosting five, Karachi and Lahore nine each and Rawalpindi 11.
On Monday, 13 February, at around 7.15pm, Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi captains will hold their media conferences at the National Bank Cricket Arena in the lead up to their Tuesday’s match, which will also commence at 8pm.
